Ratcliffe: Family Medicine Obstetrics 3rd Edition

The past decade has seen major changes in the provision of maternity care to women in the United States. The most striking change has been the rapidly escalating rate of cesarean section intervention that has seen the national cesarean section rate climb from 20.7% in 1996 to 30% in 2006.
