Guyuron: Plastic Surgery: Indications and Practice (Expert Consult Series) with DVD

The plastic surgery text is based on the Association of Academic Chairmen in Plastic Surgery curriculum, for the support of residents and new and experienced surgeons seeking a comprehensive, yet quickly accessed information base for their clinical practice.

Physicians of other specialties, medical students and other health care professionals will find the text very informative and easily accessible. The layout and form of the text is designed to provide the reader with the most recent and comprehensive information, in a time efficient, clinically-relevant manner. A major effort has been made to illustrate all parts of the text, particularly the various operations, many of which have additional DVD clips provided. Our hope is that when published, this will be considered the best textbook in plastic surgery by those who possess discriminating taste for textbooks.

This is a modern text where the opportunities of electronic publishing have been used extensively. The clinical chapters have an abundance of outstanding videos and downloadable illustrations, and the text is published with a continuously updated website. Every author and editor has worked very hard in order to create the most comprehensive state-of-the art textbook in plastic surgery today. This effort has been supported and fortified through enormous cooperation of an extraordinary group of professionals assigned to this project by the publisher.

It has truly been a pleasure to be part of the creation of Plastic Surgery and it is our sincere hope that we have fulfilled your expectation as the reader.
